The 25th and last episode of the 1st season of Natsuki Takaya's new anime of Fruits Basket squad was released on Friday, and it was announced that the anime's 2nd season would premiere in 2020.

Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume announced in its 20th edition this year that it would make an announcement after the release of the 25th episode of anime.

Anime premiered in Japan on April 5, and the first season consists of a total of 25 episodes. Funimation and Crunchyroll publish anime. In addition, Funimation has licensed home video rights. Crunchyroll tells the story of the anime:

When a family tragedy turns his life upside down, brave high school student Tohru Honda decides to take the ropes into his own hands and settles in a tent. Yoshihide Ibata (Pikaia !!, FLCL Progressive) directed the first season at TMS Entertainment. Taku Kishimoto (Silver Spoon, Haikyu !!, 91 Days, Hanebad!) Ai Ohtsuka performed the new opening theme song "Chime" and INTERSECTION's new closing song "One Step Closer". Beverly sang her first opening theme song "Again" and Vickeblanka sang her first closing theme song "Lucky Ending".
